The Ubuntu Bug Control team (ubuntu-bugcontrol in Launchpad) is a subset of the Ubuntu Bug Squad who can change the importance of Ubuntu bug tasks, set the status of an Ubuntu bug task to "Triaged" or "Won't Fix" and nominate a bug for a release of Ubuntu. You do this when you are triaging bug reports. Bug Control consists of expert triagers who are experienced triagers, and know the triage process in Ubuntu.
How to achieve this trophy
- Sign the Ubuntu Code of Conduct
- Complete all the generic requirements for joining Bug Control.
- Improve some bug reports and keep a short list (at least 5) of your best ones.
- Follow the instructions for applying for Ubuntu Bug Control.

- Be sure to read all the requirements for joining Bug Control before applying.
- Please follow the directions for applying before emailing in your application.
Pitfalls To Avoid:
- Include your best work when applying, and make sure that all the work shows a wide range of triaging activities.
- You should probably be a Bug Squad member for at least a few months before applying to Bug Control.
