Occasionally one will find or realize the solution to a question, which he or she posted, before the Ask Ubuntu community. It is encouraged and beneficial to post answers to self asked questions.
When an answer to a self posted question receives a score (up vote) of 3 or more, the Self-Learner Badge is awarded.
How to achieve this trophy
- Provide a correct answer to a question posted by ones self.
- Receive 3 up votes on your provided answer by the Ask Ubuntu community.
Tips and Tricks:
- Answers should be very descriptive with each step displayed in succession.
- Images and screen-shots in answers are helpful and will receive more attention if appropriately used.
Pitfalls To Avoid:
- Vague or generic answers with links to other blogs are not easy to understand.
- Obvious answers will not impress the community thus lowering the chance of up scoring.
